Sonicwall TZ 100/200 Series Setup Guide

  1. Plug in WAN connection to output of ISP’s modem
  2. Plug in LAN connection to input on network switch
  3. Setup a pc with a static IP in the 192.168.168.x subnet
  4. Go to 192.168.168.168 to start Setup Wizard
  5. Follow the Setup Wizard to change the default password, set the time zone, setup Cable or DSL settings, and change the default IP address (typically it will need to be changed to 192.168.1.1)
  6. Once completed, log into 192.168.1.1 with the new password
  7. Setup any additional remote access or security settings as needed per client
