CARY, NC – August 5, 2010 – ByteWyze Computer Services, an expanding computer support consultancy based in Cary, NC, has recently been recognized by Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle’s Top IT Networking Companies. Companies making The List are ranked by 2009 Triangle networking revenue.

Founded in 2000 by Phillip Hare, Stephen Arnold, and Tim Taylor, the company provides network administration, computer repair, disaster recovery, and backup, anti-virus, hardware, cabling, and network solutions. Because of their extensive knowledge of dental software, the company has a strong dental practice client base. However, the company is beginning an aggressive marketing campaign targeted toward the legal and medical industries.

ByteWyze co-founder Phillip Hare is proud of his company’s recent accomplishment and steady corporate growth. Despite a sluggish economy and the continued challenges that small businesses continue to face, he attributes the company’s success and recent distinction directly to his fellow team members.

“At the end of the day, what’s going to make or break your company is your employees,” says Hare. “With competition for consumer loyalty being more aggressive than ever, the company that stands by their product, delivers on their promises, and exceeds customer expectations will pull through the hard times and come out a better and stronger company. Our employees are fully committed to making sure our customers are treated honestly, fairly, and with respect. These efforts result in every new client we retain, every referral we receive, and every customer that keeps coming back.”

The company is currently promoting its Remote Preventative Maintenance and Monitoring (RPM2) service, which automatically and remotely protects network data and can be configured to scan Internet Gateways, E-mail, servers, and desktop PCs. Company co-founder Stephen Arnold says that RPM2 reinforces ByteWyze’s goal of making life for their customers easier.

“Our customers are busy running their businesses and don’t want to be IT professionals,” explains Arnold. “They’re dentists or lawyers or doctors who are experts in their field and want to focus their attention on their patients or clients and not their computer systems. We understand this and really work to make their lives easier by making their businesses run more efficiently. By anticipating a need and delivering a sound product, backed by dependable service, our company continues to set ourselves apart in the industry.”

CARY, NC – OCTOBER 1, 2009 – Representatives from ByteWyze Computer Services recently participated in Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride 2009 to raise funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis in Eastern North Carolina and throughout the United States. ByteWyze team members Chip Harrell and David Yurko joined over 2,000 cyclists on September 12-13 to ride through rural Eastern North Carolina.

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease. MS has personally touched David Yurko, an account executive with ByteWyze, over the past two years. He says his participation in this year’s event had a special purpose.

“My brother-in-law was diagnosed with MS last year,” says Yurko. “This year, a dear friend of my wife’s and mine was diagnosed. My cycling jersey had the names of the people we were personally riding in honor of printed on it. It was an amazing experience having those names imprinted on my jersey. I really felt that all of those people were riding with me for those two days. It was an incredible experience.”

This year marks Yurko’s third year riding in this event while Chip Harrell, a technician for ByteWyze, is in his sixth year riding on behalf of MS. Both men say that they are planning to ride again next year.

According to the Eastern North Carolina MS website, 2,250 cyclists and 400 volunteers participated in this year’s Bike MS event. As of September 22, over $1,350,000 has been raised to fund cutting-edge research, life-changing programs and services, and policy-sculpting advocacy efforts. The organization hopes to meet its goal of $1.7 million before the October 5 fundraising deadline.

CARY, NC – September 15, 2009 – ByteWyze Computer Services has been selected for the 2009 Best of Cary Award in the Computer Integrated Systems Design category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.

Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Founded in 2000 by Phillip Hare, Stephen Arnold, and Tim Taylor, ByteWyze offers technical outsourcing, network services, computer repair and upgrade services, printer support, and data and phone cabling. In addition to its USCA award, the company also was recently honored by Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle’s Top IT Networking Companies. Company co-founder, Tim Taylor, says that his company’s recent accomplishments are a direct reflection of the professionalism and dedication of the company’s team members.

“All of us at ByteWyze are grateful to USCA for this tremendous distinction and honor,” says Taylor. “ByteWyze is proud to be a part of Cary, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive difference in our industry and within our community.”

Stephen Arnold, company co-founder, adds that it’s his company’s ability to anticipate customers’ needs and provide an affordable, dependable, and seamless solution that helps attract and retain customers, as well as ensure that the company stays competitive in an aggressive market.

“Our customers are busy running their businesses and don’t want to be IT professionals,” explains Arnold. “We understand this and really work to make their lives easier by making their businesses run more efficiently. Our USCA award just serves to reinforce our commitment of not only providing an exceptional and personal customer experience, but always making sure that we continue to put service ahead of the sale.”
